Healthy Food Review Batter Blaster Organic Pancake and Waffle Batter

Hi All,

Thanks to a Costco demonstration, I discovered Batter Blaster as a healthy and fun way to make healthy pancakes or waffles in a snap!  I never cook pancakes at home--that's one of those labor-intensive meals that I prefer to leave to someone else.  However, once I saw Batter Blaster demonstrate how easy it was to cook healthy pancakes and waffles at home, I decided to give it a go.

It's almost like taking a digital photo, just point and shoot.  Instead here it's shake the can, point the nozzle down and you can shoot out organic pancake batter no less that is 112 calories per serving, just a half gram of fat, with two grams of fiber and protein.  And the pancakes taste so good, you barely need any sugar free maple syrup on them, so you can keep the calorie count way down.

I admit it took about three batches before I got the knack of it, as first I tried to make three small pancakes in each of two non-stick pans and I failed miserably.  The trick was to make one larger pancake in each of two non-stick pans, and then make a second batch this way as desired.

My husband told me that he felt my pancakes made with Batter Blaster were even better than The Original Pancake House (and that's a hard act to beat), and mine are certainly healthier.  Banana pancakes are my true favorite, so I am going to try for Easter Brunch adding sliced banana to the pancakes for an added healthy treat.

I would also think this is a fantastic way to get kids into eating healthy--let them spray their own organic pancakes!

It looks like the product is getting distribution in other supermarkets besides Costco, where the only downside is you have to buy a larger quantity (3 cans worth).  But since Costco charges $9.99 for them locally and I have seen individual cans go for $4.99 - $5.99, it's worth buying at Costco since it's the equivalent of buying two, getting one free as long as you have the refrigerator space.

Check out Batter Blaster's site, which also features a cooking demo at www.batterblaster.com, and then whip up a batch of your own.  This is healthy comfort food made ridiculously easy!
